Miss Bonita and Friends is an exciting and magical children’s series of books, web & television and musical live shows where the characters go on adventures to help children solve their problems around the world! Miss Bonita and Friends promotes emotional intelligence by demonstrating to children that they have the power to choose, to creatively problem-solve, and contribute to their life journey and in effect influence their circumstances.
In the not so distant past, many topics of discussion such as divorce, loss, racism, and bullying to name a few, were considered taboo when it came to family challenges, and very few children had an outlet to communicate and share their feelings.
Fast-forward a few decades and today we are right in the middle of the age of technology and communication. Through the mediums of web & television, live shows, books, and social media, it was the perfect time to introduce our group of diverse characters from mixed backgrounds who are learning to overcome some of the challenges that come with being a twin, living in foster care, being differently-abled, having autism, and having ADD. Miss Bonita and Friends is giving them a voice and that voice is being heard by parents, teachers, corporations, and marketers.
Miss Bonita and Friends has created a formula that guides children through the process of dealing with their challenges in a fun and safe environment.

Lisa earned her degree in Social Work from McGill University. She has a natural talent to connect with children and young adults in a profound and meaningful way. Lisa has been the driving force behind the creation of various programs to help kids. Lisa has also experienced first-hand the nightmares that trauma and crisis can unleash on a family; she is able to successfully guide families through whatever challenges they may be facing. Lisa is the author and creator of the Miss Bonita and Friends universe.
Tomasz Lubert
Creative | Musical
Tomasz Lubert is an award-winning Polish composer and music producer. He is a winner of several dozen prestigious music awards and has cooperated with Universal Music, Warner Music, and Sony Music. Tomasz is a creator of film and musical music, Kinder Surprise, and a composer of the greatest hits for children known all over the world. Tomasz is a great lover of classical music.
Suzanne (Zan) Coy

Exceptional story teller, Zan has numerous credits and was nominated for a Canadian Ensemble Comedy Award. A regular in major hits for CTV, CBC, and Global, you can also find her on Netflix in Suits, Self-Made, New in Town, and Mrs. Loving. For over 25 years, Zan has directed plays and workshops for children, using creativity to teach life skills. Zan, founder of Act From the Heart, is a published writer, producer, director, divine poet, comedian, inspirational speaker and Energy Medicine Practitioner. With an infectious sense of play as the way to learn, Zan, a lover of life, brings strategic partnerships to all endeavors.

Michaela is the founder of “Flics By Mic“, a series of educational productions for youth where the mediums of film, music, and art are used to raise awareness about addiction and mental health.
